SCU Masters in Computer Science & Engineering

How's the MS in CSE program in SCU? I'm interested in becoming a software engineer. I majored in Bioengineering at Berkeley, but I didn't get into any med schools, so now I'm trying to become a programmer. Also, I took as many cs courses as I could at Berkeley before graduating, so I think I have the foundational background required for a masters in CSE. I took all the lower div cs classes, and an upperdivision operating systems class.

Santa Clara University - Computer Engineering - Graduate Degree Programs

I chose to get a masters in computer science & engineering over software engineering because the software engineering program seems less flexible. I already got accepted to the program.

Also, Computer Science & Engineering programs are usually focused on designing CPUs, but I want to be a software engineer, so I want to take as few hardware classes as possible. In Berkeley, an undergrad EECS major can get away with taking only 2 lower div EE classes. Similarly, at santa clara for MS in CSE, can i get away with taking only software classes?

Also, will I be taking classes with undergrads or just grad students?

Anyone? Bump. 10char

If you’re in the master program, you will be taking classes with grad students. Many of them are part-time students and the engineers of nearby silicon valley high-tech companies. The classes will be in evening or very early morning.
