<p>@jshong21 I don’t know about that. For those wondering about financial awards, I called the financial aid office. The lady said they are working on them right now, and hopefully will have emails going out on financial aid packages within the next week. Here is what is weird, though: They will only be notifying regarding Pell Grant and student loans available. Unlike the UC system, they do not offer any scholarships with admission. We are responsible for applying for those scholarships ourselves. Well I checked on the SDSU scholarship site, and the ones I’m eligible for have all closed! So no scholarship for me next year if I attend SDSU…</p>

<p>@jshong21 if you stated that you were planning to take them you must finish them by Spring 2013, because they admitted you assuming you would finish them before Summer. If not, then you should be fine.</p>

<p>Checked financial aid portal and mine says check after March 11. Yea I was surprised too that scholarships are not automatically applied for at admissions. Don’t forget about Cal Grants also.</p>

<p>I still haven’t received notice and it’s driving me crazy, I have a 3.46 and am a psychology major, all my friends are getting theirs. It’s giving me the vibe that I won’t get in. :/</p>

<p>@kam11229: I’m in the same boat. I’m a psychology major too with a 3.35 gpa. I wonder if they are sending out residents of SD and first-time freshmen decisions first. Hopefully it doesn’t go by major because I’ve already read of a few psych majors who have gotten accepted. I would hate to think that they send rejections last. Maybe I’m just other thinking though and there’s no particular order. All I know is I am getting really antsy. This is so nerve racking! Where are you transferring from?</p>

<p>@kam and @chelo…I’m a local SD resident…3.4 gpa, Spanish major, most of my major reqs completed…and I still haven’t heard anything. So i hope that the proximity or major isn’t a factor of admission notices. But seriously I am gonna have a panic attack if I don’t hear soon!</p>
