SEAS at YALE

Are Chemical Engineering and Environmental Engineering integrated together or are they two separate majors at Yale? On the website, they have Chemical Engineering and Environmental Engineering together, but it also seems like they're separate. I'm confused. Can anyone clear it up?

Also, are there more students majoring in Chemical engineering or environmental engineering? I'd like to be involved in some engineering clubs and it'd be nice if there are more people in the same major with me.

bump…anyone? :)

They are in one department. However, they are different majors.

As to how many major in each, you will need to call the department.

You definitely don’t choose a major depending on a club. An engineering club is totally irrelevant for what you want to major in.
