Hello,

So I am about to start my last year as a political science major. I am a transfer and I started out with the idea of either being a computer engineer/software engineer or an attorney. So I took political science classes (because I enjoy political topics) and a CS101 class. I loved the political science classes but the programming classes was run my a professor who was just awful, and on top of that he basically told us if we didn't already know how to program we were only going to receive a C (which was very discouraging because I wanted to get into a really good school). So I pursued the lawyer route.

Now getting toward the end of my undergrad and seeing all of the information about how terrible the legal market is if you don't go to a T14 (which doesnt seem to be in the stars for my with a 3.4 gpa and getting in the 165 lsat range) it's making nervous about going to a T2 school (I want to work in southern California btw). So I am looking for a backup.

Lately, I have been very much interested in computers and science again; and it is pushing me toward that route again. So my question is, would it be beneficial to go back and get my second Bachelor's degree in a hard science (i.e. engineering or cs) or would it be better to go to graduate school and get my master's degree in IT or CS? or perhaps there are other post graduate options I don't know about? (I can program now btw) Or perhaps Law School would be the route to go, ignoring all of the negative attitude? (I have been interning at a private practice and I absolutely love it, but he job prospects to debt ratio is just a big concern).

Thank you for your thoughts
