I know financial aid isn't usually available for students pursuing second bachelors, but do schools still give out loans? I'm particularly curious about when the school isn't where you got your first degree - would they still furnish you with a loan less readily?
I think for U of Texas all students getting second bachelors count as transfer students, which I think indicates regular loans are available. Of course, I'll call them myself, but I'd appreciate any insight beforehand.

A better way of phrasing this is, do they expect you to make payments before graduating.

If you are asking about making LOAN payments before graduating…not sure. I believe as long as you are at least a half time student, your loans would be deferred. But I’m not positive if this is true for a second a bachelors.

Are you asking if you need to pay your college bills before graduating?

Yes.

If you are “transferring”, your current school will not release your transcript until all bills are paid.

If you are enrolling in a new school, you may find your REGISTRATION canceled if you haven’t paid for the term. If somehow they allow you to complete the courses for the first term without payment, it is highly unlikely you will be allowed to register for a subsequent term with ANY outstanding debt.

Of course you have to pay before graduating. You need to pay to TAKE the courses.

Why do you want to do a second bachelors instead of an advanced degree? You are at least the third poster with the same type of question. In the vast majority of cases, an advanced degree is preferable to a second bachelors degree.
