Seeing a Lamborghini today has changed my life.

350z Nissan baby!!!
black on black

The fact that expensive cars are motivation to be successful = bad sign.
I especially think it’s ironic that the car in question is Italian, given the role of rampant materialism in the decline of the Roman Empire.

A lot of things are ironic lookbeyond.

Alanis Morissette is ironic.

This guy is a tool, wow. If I was rich like that I’d drop out of school and probably just smoke meth and play guitar with my friends all day. maybe surf too

People are inherently materialistic. Ascetics aren’t born ascetics.

“Just seeing those two people driving that $200,000 car was just too much to fathom. Every thing I want in life they had – right there in front of my eyes. So I though to myself: what can I do? Im no athlete, Im no singer, and Im no actor. So how can I get rich? My only option is academics and an education. So therefore I have to try really hard to get good grades and get a nice job so I can get a Lambo too.”

If you think being rich is everything, then obviously you know nothing about life…

I’m not going all out to be filthy rich to the point I can buy a Lambo and not worry about my budget, but a new BMW M7 or a Mercedes Benz S600 would be nice. They’re MUCH less ostentatious than Italian cars, but still deliver on the horsepower when you need it.

I long for the day when I can go down the I-75 “alligator alley” 150 MPH. My piece of crap Civic isn’t quite what I like.

fwiw, the m7 is still just a concept…

ferrari f430 ftw

Notes on this thread:

AOM later made an Audi R8 version

I believe I deserve to be a contemporary of AOM and Liist instead of cs12345 >:O

When I was younger(and kinda still now), my idea of happiness was a long road trip around the United States, stopping at awesome hotels, restaurants, waterparks, etc.

I think its funny when dudes get those exotics and drive them like they are afraid of breaking something. If you can afford a car like that, then you should drive it like a sports car. Like when they go 1 mph over little bumps. I love watching utube vids of those cars. I like when they get flames to go out the pipes when they rev.
