<p>I made a similar thread about my second tv passion, SATC, but I must say Seinfeld has to be the best TV show ever created.</p>

<p>I like friends. i think seinfield is boring. well i havent seen much of it. so im likely wrong. but i never got into it.</p>
<p>Seinfeld is only for the top 0.5% of the world's population. If you don't get the humor of Seinfeld, you're not in it.</p>

<p>GreenDayFan, how does over your head=dumb? Nobody is calling you dumb... and it is ok to not enjoy a very hilarious, entertaining, ironic show that plays on many facets of everyday reality... it really is. But I encourage you to give it another chance and see if your opinion changes.</p>

Friends sucks. Period. Not funny, extremely unrealistic (to the point that it is annoying) and dull-witted.
Seinfeld: witty, side-splitting laughter. It's true, it's like an exclusive club, if you don't get it, you don't get it. And Friends fans never mix with Seinfeld fans.</p>

<p>Wow how pretentious are you guys? Your excuse that it is meant for the "top 0.5" of the population is simply ********. The majority of the jokes doesn't require "deep analysis" at all. All it is is standup comedy translated into a sitcom. They claimed that they purposefully made the show "about nothing", but in reality it's because the scriptwrights can't sustain a plot for longer than 20 minutes.</p>
