WOW just WOW! How did you do that so quickly? I am amazed! I have been slowly creating spreadsheets with this info - but a lot of manual back and forth between the major / cheer / distance mapping - lol!
Thank you!
I have a senior exercise science major at UDel heading to her DPT program at BU in June, she loved her experience there and the PT program is fantastic (was accepted into their #1 DPT program but is ready for an urban adventure). This is the first year sheâs had a car, and sheâs never utilized the bus system, campus is walkable except for STAR campus, bus goes there but she just got rides. She moved off campus sophomore year but it was still walking distance, Main Street is also walkable. My son graduated from TCNJ, smaller and walkable. My oldest is a Rutgers grad, the buses there can be a pain, but students canât drive to classes, both those on campus and off get a parking spot on just one campus, so need to bus to the others. UDel gives good scholarships to higher stat students and takes a lot of AP credits (my daughter is graduating in three years). Let me know if you have any questions.
Youâre welcome! I find this fun.
Once I figured out which states could be accessed within 6 hours of NJ, I just limited the search results at the College Board to those, ditto with the major and cheerleading. But since I knew nothing about UCA/NCA I just did a little Googling and wrote down the names of the universities that were in the right states. Then I just went through the College Boardâs list to cross-reference and see which schools were on it.
Obviously, there may be other cheerleading schools that werenât at the UCA nationals or trying for the Group Stunt category at NCA, but I figured that youâd enjoy delving further and would be more knowledgeable about the cheer qualifications your daughter is seeking from a university. Best of luck to your family as you go through this process!
And, of course, should search requirements change, you need only mention it.
