Self-employed income on FAFSA

<p>Hi,</p>

<p>My wife worked for a company for the initial part of 2008 and she would get W-2 for that. Then she became self-employed (conultant) -- In the Federal Income Tax Return, we would report that income in Schedule C.</p>

<p>But in FAFSA for my son, for question 90, </p>

<p>"How much did your mother/stepmother earn from working (wages, salaries, tips, etc.) in 2008 (question 90)? "</p>

<p>what do we enter -- just the W-2 income or include self-employed consultant income as well?</p>

<p>You add the self-employed income to the W-2.</p>
