self study with no background in bio, manageable??

The truth is biology disgusts the hell out of me. I have never taken any bio class since 10th grade whatsoever and recently as a senior I found out that the major I want to study lists senior level biology as a prerequisite. Obviously even if I did well on the AP Bio exam next year, it would be too late for them to admit me. However, transferring after second year is still an option, but I really don't want to waste my time and money taking bio 100 with a bunch of losers who failed bio in high school.

I have the following resources:
Campbell Reece 7th edition and corresponding student study guide
5 steps to a 5 AP bio
Barrons AP bio

some other ap classes im taking at school now:
world history
econ
enviro science
calculus ab
physics b
and i got 5s for psych and stat

So basically,
-i have no background in bio(except brain and neuron that i learned in psych).
-loathe biology
-need to do well in 5 other ap classes
-have 2 prep books, Campbell textbook
-aim for a 4...
-have 5 more months to prepare

here I am, wondering if I should start self studying or not. What do you guys think?

thanks in advance
