Self-studying AP --> doesn't help much?

Hi everyone~ I attended a really competitive high school which provides a lot of APs (Almost you can get whatever you want) But when the junior year the school made a policy that once we choose classes for next year, we cannot change mind. It really screwed me up that I didn't choose class carefully and when I wanted to drop certain AP classes in junior year, I cannot replace them with other AP classes.

Actually the same thing happened for my senior year again :(

So I got 1 AP in sophomore year, 3 APs in junior year, and 2 APs for senior year

Self-studied 4 APs in junior year. Overall, I had 7 fives and 1 four for my junior and sophomore APs --> national AP scholar and 10 in total by graduation

GPA now is fine, 3.958 UW.

The question is, if someone who is really similar to me in everything, except the fact that he took all 7 APs in junior year in high school, while I self-studied 4 of them, am I disadvantaged?

Thanks!!

I would say it actually helps you as it is a concrete example of taking initiative and fixing a mistake to be where you want to be.
