I’m taking macro in class as my school splits macro and micro into 2 years. However, I want to self-study micro a year early. Is it easy to learn micro along with macro in-class, concept wise?

It’s a feasible self-study. I thought micro was slightly harder than macro, but they’re about equal so if you find macro easy then definitely go for it. At my school each class is a semester and it’s still pretty laid-back.

Definitely doable. Assuming that you know the difference between both subjects, the course curriculum is structurally different as well, i.e. some sections are covered earlier in the year and some later on. Concept-wise I’d say to practice a lot of assignments. For instance, absolute advantage, comparative advantage and opportunity cost problems, etc. If you feel confident with AP Macroeconomics, you’ll do good on both exams if you self-study all the additional sections required that are on the AP Microeconomics exam.
