I am trying to decide what my schedule should be- i know i'll have bio, orgo, calc, ________, and PE.......would it be easier to take expository writing or a seminar class?

i dont want to be TOO drowning in work first semester, especially since i have to waste time in PE....

any suggestions from studnets who are past freshman yr?

i'm not past freshman year but i have a suggestion. you could postpone your PE until the spring. that would free up some time. also, it seems like some of the seminars are alot less work than others. if you can find one that you like and is not too intensive that could be a good way to go. just my two cents.

It would depend on how strong your writing is--you will be writing in virtually every class at Emory, including exams, so if you are not an exceptionally strong writer it might be a good idea to get the writing class under your belt.

The seminar classes also are generally heavy on writing, so if there is a seminar topic that you are really interested in you could get writing experience in the seminar as well. A lot of students take both of these the same semester but I suspect you are locked into a semester sequence with your science classes.

Don't worry about the pe/health class-it's very little work and extremely easy.
