When looking in to the Senate Page program, they information is sparse. If y’all could give information about how one becomes a Page, what you do as a page, and if being a Page is worth it. Also, what are the classes you would take during the Fall and Spring sessions? Would those classes keep you competitive when applying for colleges? Which is better, the summer or school year sessions? Just any information or personal experiences would be much appreciated… Thanks!!
All Pages are appointed by Senators. 30 for each Fall and Spring semester and ~60 in the summer for each of two sessions. Pages assist senators and floor staff on the Senate floor by running bills and other correspondence around the capitol complex, preparing the chamber for session, and helping out with anything else the staff may need.
