Send additional SAT score?

Hi,

I already sent the following two scores to Stanford before the RD deadline:

Math 2 - 800
Physics - 800

However, I took the January test in Chemistry for Harvard, who require 3 scores, and received a score of 720. It's not a great score, but I was wondering whether it's worth sending to Stanford in case it gives me any advantage in admissions. I'm aware that it might not reach in time.

I have the same question for Williams College and MIT - any point in sending it? (probably not MIT because they only require 1 math and 1 science test)

720 is pretty great! Id say send it, unless you don’t want to bother with the price. It could only help you more

I’d say don’t. Why skew those perfect 800’s?:)

Haha there’s a bit of a divide here. Any other opinions?

Hey Sci, don’t send it.
They need two and they’ve got two. Sending a mediocre score of 720 (on Chemistry that is pretty average) won’t help your case, they’ll probably ignore it seeing only two are mandatory, or it might even count against you.

^ Stanford has no “mandatory” SAT subject test scores. They’re “recommended” but not required.

I’d say you’re better off with those two 800’s. A 720 is a pretty good score, but there’s nothing like having ALL perfects as opposed to having some perfects + pretty good. Know what I mean?

yea i guess ill change my decision. i agree ^
