Is there any need to do this?

Collegeboard keeps reminding me that I can send my SAT Math II score to any 4 colleges for free, and that this is a good idea because it shows colleges my early interest.

Of course, almost every high-achieving student is interested in HYPSM. They probably all have stellar SAT scores as well.

Is there any use sending SAT scores to colleges (if it helps, I am a rising junior)? Or can I just send them with my college applications?

Colleges require that scores be sent from CB/ACT, etc. So while you have the free score reports, you should send them to schools you’re sure you’re going to apply to.

And if I don’t send them now, what will happen?

You’ll have to pay a fee later to send them

Sent from my GT-I8190 using CC

BUT BUT!??!??? This changes everything.

I thought that there is a place on my college apps where I write the scores I got on the subject tests and AP tests and the SATs. So you’re telling me that I have to send them NOW and it will stay in their records and I won’t have to write it on my applications???

No.

You write it on your app and then send the scores as proof

i think

I would send the scores to the colleges on your list that require ALL scores to be submitted. Why not save a few $$?

I wouldn’t send scores to colleges that allow score choice.
