sending in my sat AND act scores.... which will they look at?

if i have an sat score of 2110 - 770 writing, 690 cr, 650 reading

and an act score of 30, but i bombed only one of the sections

which score will they look at?

if they look at my act score, does that mean they look purely at the composite?

or do they actually look under each section?

They will just look at the highest score according to them. Don’t worry they’ll give you the benefit.

I kind of have the same question: I sent my SAT of 2150 (770M, 710CR, 670W) as well as my ACT of 33 (34E,34M,33R,31S,10W). I didn’t have a clue which was higher and my counsellor told me to send both for some reason so I did. Now I’m a bit worried… is there a discrepancy between these scores? My highest SAT II scores were 730 and 710. All my colleges say that they want either the SAT + 2 subject tests OR the ACT with writing. Which will they look at when I send both?
