Sending in SAT Scores and quick WASHU question.

I sent in my SAT scores for 11 schools on December 20th. None of these schools have a deadline before January 1st.

However, a couple of days ago, Vanderbilt e-mailed me and said they received my common application and supplement, but they are missing my SAT scores. Will College Board e-mail me before they send in my scores? They said processing time will take 4 weeks, but I just want to know if December 20th counts as my postmark date. Or will my postmark date be when College Board finishes processing those scores and actually sends them out?

Seriously, CB? 4 weeks?
Should I be concerned? I tried calling Vanderbilt today, but the admissions office is not open.

Quote from the e-mail:
"For Early Decision II and Regular Decision applicants, missing application pieces must be postmarked or submitted electronically by January 3, 2011."

Also, I just wanted to ask if there was an essay for WASHU, besides the Common Application essay. They gave me my login to the WUSTL pathway, and on the checklist for received items, they put a green check next to "Essay". Why would they have a separate category for "Essay" if my essay was part of my Common Application? I'm confused.

Uh, don’t worry about the SAT score situation. As for WashU, NOPE. no supp.

You just have to be concerned about the materials YOUUU have to provide including the CA, CA supplement and the app fee or a fee waiver. The other parts including counselor reports, recommendations and the SAT scores are not your headache
hope this helps
