Sending in scores the day of the application deadline

Today is the Early Action deadline for Purdue, and I just sent in my scores. Will they still be accepted? The scores are from a older test, and I just didn't realize when I needed to send them in by :(. I self-reported them on the commonapp, but of course they need the official reports as well. The website says that all application materials must be "postmarked" by the deadline (today), but the scores weren't really sent, only ordered (they are still pending according to the collegeboard website). I really need to be considered for early action as well, as that is the deadline for merit scholarships. Sadly I can't call or ask the admissions office since it is a Saturday, and I really need to know this before I purchase the application (if I cannot be considered for scholarships, I'm not even going to apply).

Try calling your local admission rep or email them and maybe they will respond with an answer today.

@scubadive‌ OK I did this, hopefully someone will reply before the day ends. If not, I am not so sure that I will be submitting an app at all.

I ended up submitting it, as well as to Ohio State (which I was in a similar situation in). I guess I will just see how it goes!

If I were in your shoes I would have done the same. Call Monday and plead your case.

You don’t need to call to plead your case. The deadline is for your app and everything you can get in. They completely understand that some elements may not be ready – they ARE VERY HAPPY you applied early and will do everything they can to accommodate you. Remember THEY REALLY REALLY WANT TO ADMIT YOU.
