Sending Newer SAT Scores to UC's

Hello,
I took the new SAT in Mar.2016, and sent my scores to a UC (which I didn’t end up applying to–another concern)

I studied and got a better score in Oct.2016

Do students applying for freshmen year have to re-send the new SAT scores to the UC’s?

Yes, you need to send any additional scores since the original SAT scores in March.
