Hi Guys,
I am applying to Tulane as transfer. One of the requirements is SAT/ACT scores. I have SAT test scores and subject scores. But I thought transfers do not need to submit standardized test scores. I maybe wrong and if someone can explain, I would very much appreciate it. In addition, when I’m sending SAT scores on Collegeboard, although the price of sending the scores is affordable, I see that they are charging me for “Archived Score” which is more than the cost of sending the score itself. Why is this? Is there a way to get around this? I will be applying to few colleges, and this is stressing me out with my wallet.
Thanks!

As far as what College Board charges, that is just a racket. Archived scores? What a total crock. It is all in the computer, they aren’t sending some poor employee into dusty, cobwebbed rooms. But you cannot fight them, all you can do is ask for a fee waiver due to financial circumstances.
As far as the schools needing the scores, each school can be different. I thought Tulane required the scores and your high school transcripts if you were trying to come in as a sophomore, but not if you were coming in after 2 years of college. You will have to check that. But I know some schools require all of that no matter when you transfer.
