Sending score reports

When do most applicants send their SAT and AP score reports?

Do most applicants send their SAT score reports to UCs or most other colleges and universities after the final testing date in December?

Are there any advantages or disadvantages in sending the reports after the December SAT scores are reported back?

I will be taking a SAT or SAT 2 test in December.

How will sending score reports in January or right after the December testing date affect admissions, since the colleges will not have the applicants scores?

Any advice, thoughts?

Some people send a report before retaking the sat so that if the second score is worse they don't have to send it. If you are waiting until December to take it this might not be an option bc if you wait to see what you get, it might get to the college too late.
The UC's don't require that you send a report -- they take your word for your score, and check just the admits.
good luck

So when the UCs review the fall 08 applications, would they make their decisions primarily based on the SAT scores made available at the time (scores written on the application) or would they consider every applicant after all December SAT testing dates scores have been sent in?

This is important in determining the dates that I would take the SAT or SAT 2s.

I was planning on taking the SAT 2s in november and SAT 1 December.

The SAT 2s are more urgent for my applications due to my current chemistry score(very low), but the more time to study chemistry would not be that bad.

If the adcoms consider SAT scores on the written application then I pretty much will have to do the SAT 2s first.

Hopefully this makes sense.

Check the schools' websites. They will tell you which test dates will still be considered for RD admissions.
