Sending the transcript and recommendation

Hello, I am an international student. I have studied 9-10th grades in one school and then moved to another school for 11-12th grades. This is creating some problems for me.

how should I send my transcript for 9-10th grade? I spoke to the principal of my previous school about this and he gave me my transcript (in an envelope) and said, the counselor of my current school would have to mail both the transcripts.

Another problem i have is that, since we are not required to study any Arts subject in 11 and 12th grade, I have to ask one of the language teachers from my previous school to give me a recommendation (Evaluation B). So is it alright if I take a recommendation from a teacher from my previous school?

*(I spoke to the counselor of my current school about this, and he said that my previous transcript and the Evaluation B have to be sent to him. He will then mail all my documents to MIT all together)

Sounds correct. Although I would expect your current school to have your 9th/10th transcript already incorporated in your overall transcript.

You are not taking any foreign language, no English, no history, no economics, etc? If you are, one of those teachers would be probably preferred (junior and senior year teachers), but certainly if you do not have a current option, then yes, you can use a prior school option.

Generally, it would be best to follow the advice of your current counselor, although I believe that the transcript and evaluation can be sent directly to MIT through the originating sources.
