Interested in BC and they reccomend 4 years of spanish and science… ive taken
Spanish:
Honors 2-4
Science:
Honors bio
Honors chem
AP physics 1
Next spanish would be AP and i’ve heard its hard… i also hate science and want to major in business. Next year im thinking about taking
Ap econ
Ap stat
Ap calc
Honors eng
Gym
Photography (necessary performing art)
Lunch
Entrepreneurship
If i have to take this spanish or science course id drop lunch and entrepreneurship which i dont want to do. My GPA is a 99.7 and im top 5 percent in my class. What do you guys think!? Thank you.
I’d take an additional science credit, but I think you can decide what you want for Spanish. Most high schools require 4 science credits to graduate, and some colleges do. I think it’s in your best interest because it expands your college options and most other applicants will have 4+ science credits, and you’ll be compared to them.
Yeah thats what i’ve been getting: spanish optional, and should def take 4th year of science… think im either gonna take
AP physics C or AP environmental
Struggling right now in AP physics 1 though i have a 91, we’ll see how it plays out thank you sm!
Any other thoughts from anyone?? Course selection is in weeks to come i think in 2
I’m a high school senior, just got accepted to BC (MCAS) a couple weeks ago. My school only requires 3 years of science and I didn’t take one this year, and I still got in. While I do think it could be beneficial to have a fourth year of science, it’s definitely by no means a requirement (unless you’re interested in studying medicine). As long as your essays and extracurriculars make you stand out and you have good test scores, you’ll be fine.
yeah my high school only requires 3 to graduate too, and haha congrats on the acceptance… i want to major in economics or stats or business which is why i want to focus my schedule on entrepreneurship stats and econ. If anything i’ll take AP environmental or AP physics C and no longer take Spanish
Any other thoughts/opinions?
