Senior Quote ?

For the yearbook, every senior has to have a quote under their senior photo. I cannot for the life of think of a suitable quote that I would want to put. Any suggestions?

“Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind.” -Dr. Seuss

Say whatever you’d like that best describes you.

I actually was considering that one too. Thanks.

More suggestions?

i was being silly with my quote
“expect problems and eat them for breakfast”

other ones I considered :
“What garlic is to salad, insanity is to art”
“Some people are like Slinkies - not really good for anything, but you still can’t help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs.”
uuh there were others but i can’t seem to recall at the moment…

Idk if this describes you but I’m going to put “the bridge jumping friend your parents warned you about”

I’m so annoyed my school didn’t have a senior quote. AND the yearbook was absolutely terrible my senior year. I really regret buying it.

I think I’m going to use “it matters not what someone is born, but what they grow to be”- JK Rowling

My senior quote is going to be an ellipsis. As in, there is nothing more to be said.

“I can’t believe I ate the whole thing.” -Homer Simpson

Don’t let the muggles get you down!

“yield falsehood when preceded by quotation” yield falsehood when preceded by quotation

Haha, you guys are giving me some great suggestions. Thanks everyone and @cristiline I’m sorry to hear that. I already bought my yearbook but I haven’t seen it yet. I’m almost 100% positive it sucks "/

My yearbooks are always riddled with tons of rudimentary spelling and grammar errors.

^Same at my school. It’s doubly sad because the yearbook sponsor is an English teacher…

“It’s not enough that I succeed. Others must fail.”

Man, I wish our yearbooks had quotes…

I ended up going with:

“HOW’D IT GET BURNED?!” -Nicolas Cage

(if you don’t get the reference, [HOW'D IT GET BURNED - YouTube](<a href=“Wicker Man - HOW'D IT GET BURNED - YouTube”>Wicker Man - HOW'D IT GET BURNED - YouTube)). It was our biggest inside joke for at least a year, and we remain obsessed. I just didn’t want to be that kid with an uber-deep Nelson Mandela quote (as much as I love him). It just felt a lot more natural to go with something funny. Besides, that’s probably the kind of thing I’ll want to be reminded of when I’m old and gray and looking at my yearbook from 50 years ago :P

Though I’m resurrecting this thread from the grave, I felt like sharing since the yearbook came out.

I went with “Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none” - William Shakespeare. Unoriginal yes, but I just wanted to get it over with.

I know someone who’s last name starts with Zo. His quote was “Okay guys, it’s the last quote in the yearbook. Anybody have any ideas?”
