Hey guys, so I'm a junior trying to figure out my senior schedule. I want to major in business/finance, and reaching for NYU Stern, which is super competitive as most of you know. My schedule so far looks like:

AP Physics 1
AP Lit
AP Calc AB
AP Microeconomics/Macroeconomics
Latin 4

I have one more slot left for another AP, and I'm between Stats and World. Now, I'm not great at math (low to mid As), so I feel like Stats may be too much, if I'm doubling up with AP Calc. On the other hand, it's definitely a good class to have if I'm majoring in business. My only concern is that my GPA might drop if I do poorly.

For AP World: I was gonna take world sophomore year with the same teacher I had for World Hist Honors, and she loved me. I ended up not taking it because of scheduling difficulties. I'm considering AP World because 1) I think its interesting 2) Good rec from an Ivy League teacher 3) Did the summer work already.

To keep it simple: Should I risk a lower GPA and the possibility of a good rec for a hard(er) course that will help with my major, or just suck it up and study my ass off?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks you guys!! :)
