Seniors: What's on your second semester bucket list?

I saw a thread like this a while ago and thought it would be fun to start another one.

I think the majority of us have just about 2 and a half more weeks until the winter break, so what do you guys want to do / accomplish before your final year of high school ends?

Mine are to...
1. Get my conch pierced - not as dirty as it sounds, and I'm planning on getting it done during the winter break
2. Read more
3. Learn how to cook
4. Get supa fit / try boxing / be able to run a mile without stopping / lose 10 pounds by the summer
5. Pick up archery - I have been wanting to do archery forever, but I've been preoccupied with other things, so that venture has kinda been pushed back in my mind. Watching Catching Fire this past weekend has also contributed to this idea just a little...
6. Start watching The Mindy Project / Top Chef / more TV in general...
7. Hang out with my friends more
8. Turn in a quiz, completely unanswered and just filled with doodles
9. Draw / paint more
10. Skip school

Since my second semester grades don't factor into my GPA, I'm planning on loosening up a lot on my school work. All I have to do is not get any C's, haha.

Get into a good college.

Lose 10 pounds.

Actually make AIME this year. Or not. Probably not.

Get mostly As because I’m taking all college classes and my grades will follow me forever.

Look passable/non-ugly in my senior pictures.

Get into college

Read all the books I’ve been saving since freshman year: LOTR, the non-main Percy Jackson series, and some other books (I have a list somewhere, I just gotta find it)

Not gain more muscle mass (it’s so frustrating to be a girl and have muscular legs)

Speak more Japanese at home (I’m Japanese, but don’t really speak it a ton)

Get an A in my math class (it’s a college class, so I’ve got to).

Catch up on manga/anime

Hang out with friends more so that they don’t think I’m dead

Sleep. A lot.

There’s probably more, but that’s all I can remember for now.

Watch more movies.

Get that USAMO qualification mmmm

Successfully bake an apple pie

Go to SciBowl Nationals

Acquire more muscle mass

Go to a music concert.

Ask someone to prom.

I like how some of the seniors seemingly cannot stop “overachieving” [I use such a term very lightly]

I want to try DMT.

@xCossack
What’s DMT?

@Apollo

It’s a psychedelic drug.

Oh…

I don’t really know what to say…

Stay safe?
DARE?

However, odds are y’all are being sarcastic, so ignore me.

Dude, as someone who’s done DMT, I don’t recommend it without starting with mushrooms, then LSD. Read Food of the Gods first, and don’t smoke the DMT without snowcapping it if it’s your first time…

Yage is better.

oh… lol I thought it was a typo for PMT… although P and D are on different sides of the keyboard. whoops. Yeah, this is probably why I’m not integrating well at my local community college.

Uh…

I have no words.

However, I must ask, how’d you accumulate such experience in drugs at such a young age?

@kiddo

I’ve had shrooms. Never tried acid. I smoke weed regularly though.

@Apollo
I’m not a druggie like you may be thinking. To be quite honest, I’m pretty responsible with my drug use. I’m not stupid, so I’m not gonna do meth or cocaine. Taking shrooms was probably one of the best decisions of my life. It made me a much happier person.

Heh, second semester? What’s that? :P

Oh, my… isn’t it a bit early in your lives to expiriment in addictive and potentially extremely dangerous substances?

It’s never too early! Get 'em started young!
… um, I’m not a druggie, guys.

That said, some things on my second semester bucket list ;

 1. Get an industrial bar piercing.
 2. Go to prom and look adorable.
 3. Graduate Magna Cum Laude.
 4. Go to more parties.
 5. Run a 5k.
 6. Bring my grades up and do well in AP Biology.
 7. Participate in senior skip day. Actually do something on senior skip day.

Anyone who thinks psychedelics (including weed) are dangerous or addictive obviously know nothing about them. I used DMT my senior year and never had the desire to use again (yet). The difference between psychedelics and other drugs is massive. Also, if you know someone good, use 5-Meo, much stronger (but try acid first).

Haha I get the sense that kids on CC are either really goody academic types or brilliant sexually active teenagers who drink and do drugs but can’t get their academic needs scratched by their dumb friends so they turn to the internet

That said:

get into Carnegie Mellon, Cornell, or Columbia

go to prom with the same boy as last year <3

keep getting straight As

actually buy my own weed for once

In HS I fell into the second group, but I never drank and was sexually active. Now in college, I remain the same, but have enough intelligent friends.

That’s one of the reasons why I can’t wait for college if I get in somewhere selective, because even at the parties everyone will be smart

People tend to group the psychedelics with drugs like heroin and meth which is just ridiculous. Alcohol is MUCH more dangerous than even cannabis and it’s legal.
