Hey guys, I applied to Stanford REA. I sent a score report to Stanford and three other places I'm applying RD to when I wrote my SAT in October and received confirmation of the score report being sent on 22nd October 2013.

However, I received an email from Stanford a few hours back acknowledging receipt of all documents except my SAT scores. Since they say not to email/call them, what should I do? To compound the problem a bit, my parents just left town for 3-4 days because of a family emergency. Will I have to resend the score report? And is there any deadline past which they won't consider my application at all?

Thank you! :)

I would wait for a bit. Took 24 hours for some of my schools to recognize and process the scores I sent them. After that you should contact the college somehow even if they say not to.

I believe the email you got from Stanford also says that if something is
‘not processed’ by Nov 20, then you should call them (and they listed
the phone number). I definitely wouldn’t panic now. I took the SAT in June
and listed Stanford then and it says ‘not processed’. I think it just takes
them some time to match up the flood of applications with all the
test scores they received. (note: the email also said if you used
a different version of your name or a different email address when
testing than you did on the common app to email Stanford with the
change. I created a new email for Common App, so I sent them
an email telling them the old and new ones).

As a point of reference–we sent ACT scores to one University on October 21st. Their application status portal said they were received 10/30. It takes awhile.

The scores were sent on 22nd October. Gave it another day, still no luck, nothing received.
jbourne, there isn’t any number given! :/

This is the text of the email:

We have listed the status of your required Early Action application materials
below. It is your responsibility to check your application status periodically
to make sure we have received all required materials.

IMPORTANT: If a required item is still listed as “Not Yet Processed” after
November 20, please fax a copy to 650-723-6050.

WRITE your Common Application ID on all documents.

Once you have faxed a missing item, allow at least 24 hours of processing time
before returning to https://axess.stanford.edu to check on its status.

DO NOT CALL or EMAIL to confirm receipt of optional materials. They are not
tracked in our system.

DO NOT REPLY to this email with attachments. They will not be opened.
