My junior year I sent my SAT score which wasn’t bad (1990) to UT Austin but I just took the ACT made a better score (32) and sent that one. Will they only look at the better one?
They would be silly not to consider your 32 ACT over the 1990 SAT. For their admission purposes, they will undoubtedly use your ACT. However, just look on their website for call the admissions office. How will any of us know specific admissions criteria for that college?
