Yes iPhone and Linger are both correct. At least that’s what I put.

@Linger Yeah thats what I put, the others seemed more like causes than effects

I think I put something with changes in current

Except problem,1589 was not the year that the thing opened up?

agreed billabong, “pride” seemed to be way too strong from his statement that his tools were more delicate and accurate than the government’s

I might have been hallucinating but I read the question as asking you for a “cause” rather than an “effect”.

Can we get some more discussion with this question? He specifically said that his instruments were more accurate than the government’s so wouldn’t it be prideful?

Yeah Linger that’s when Drake discovered the hole. They dated it 25 millions years or something.

^ACT because I don’t think that necessarily carries a prideful connotation. I thought that a good portion of that passage was focusing on the discrepancy bewteen what they measured and what the government measured.

@ACTTester & others:
I had put pride…
he said something like “although the government said X… our instruments were more accurate and precise, and they said Y”
so I don’t think the answer could have been reliant, since it didn’t seem like he was using them

Yeah, they didn’t know the year it opened up.

@necroblood, that’s great that you watched the movie, but i’m 99.99999% positive that the answer is that his relationship with the girl is like his relationship with his cousins. cuz at the beginning he was talking about how his relationship with the girl is like that “forced” relationship with his cousins with india…it was like a direct analogy from which the answer could be drawn.

ugh stupid flippin question with the instruments. another choice was that he was “concerned” about the discrepancy between the two measurements but he said everything so matter-of-factly that i didn’t think he expressed “concern” or “pride” which is why i put reliant…cuz in the end it seemed he used 27 as the official number

He said that the Government measured 27, he measured 24, but the official measure was still 27.

There werent upset about the plane being flipped over cuz, was the answer something about doug never having flown it?

What with Golab or whatever feel after his dinner?

pleasently pleased^or something like that.

^Agreed Linger about Doug.

iPhone it was pleasantly interested.

In the passage about the journals, the aunt’s journals show that she didnt like?

Pleasantly interested.
You’re right; cousins was stated in passage.

@iPhone- I put reading novels.
