1 point away in any subsection from a 35, but I’m kind of ok with a 34. Congrats to everyone who’s really excited about their scores (like me), and good luck to those who need to do better or are waiting to hear back. Best news I’ve had this year :)

I can’t believe it! I haven’t prepped at all!

@97college Thank you and congratulations on the 32 in math! I knew some of those concepts prior to taking the test, but I will make sure I know all of them a lot better and more concretely before I take the one in October.

I wish I could give you helpful tips on reading, but it certainly has always been a subject/area that I have excelled at in school and on the test. I am sure you are the same way with math. I will try to give you some tips though. Some prep books will tell you to read the whole passage and then answer the questions or read the questions and then read the passage. I would say that you have to find out what method you are good at doing. This means TAKE A LOT OF TESTS. This will not only help you find your method, but it well prepare you for the test. Time yourself strictly so you are under the same circumstances that you will be under during the test. If you have time, read everyday. This will train your brain and it will keep you conditioned and ready for the test. If you are rushed for time, look for the questions that point you directly to a line or set of lines, this way you will (most likely) not even have to read the passage and guarantee yourself points. On the day of the test, when you wake up, read something. Read the paper, a page from a book, anything. You need to get your brain moving and ready for a long morning. I hope this helps some. I don’t really have any great tips.

Still Registered Anyone from Southern CA has got their ACT score?

Anyone got their scores in San Francisco area?

Anyone getting this message?

Due to an unforeseen technical error, the release of September ACT scores was slightly delayed. All scores that are ready for release have now been posted to student accounts. The next score release will be Friday morning, according to our regular schedule. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
