Set on taking 22 credits in the spring

I currently go to a two year school and the plan is to transfer after this spring semester. I need to to take 19 credits in the spring to graduate but it looks like I can't get away with taking less then 22. It's really not looking like it's going to be all that extreme, certainly my hardest semester, but not terrible. Psych class hopefully with a prof. I previously scored an overall 110.25 with, Bio, three elective classes I haven't decided on yet and the short term study abroad that my school offers which is 6 credits and is basically two one day a week classes (+the two week trip). I do have a few questions though. Will my advisor or anyone else involved give me a hard time when I try to sign up for classes? I know that when you try to sign up for more than 18 credits, the website will not let you. Also, is tuition higher when you take over 18? Under 12, my school charges per hour but it says 18 or over is the fixed price. I also have the South Carolina Life Scholarship that covers $5,000 or up to the price of tuition and my tuition is normally around $1,700 so I should be alright. Correct?
Please help!
