<p>Hi, I was wondering if anyone out there who has taken Math 53 with Professor Sethian could demystify the final exam for me. In years past, how has it been, difficulty wise, compared to the midterms? More theoretical problems or very computational, in large, like the midterms?</p>
<p>Also, I don't know if he has done this in years past but he said that we will be able to substitute our final exam grades for our course grades if it is higher. Does this end up applying to a lot of people or is the final just so hard that no one scores that high on it?</p>
<p>I guess the first part of this question could apply to anyone who has taken 53 before with other professors so feel free to chime in as well</p>
