<p>Thank you for the tip. The rep I talked to over the phone told me that I believe she was going to send a request to my counselor for my aid to be reinstated for both Fall and Spring. But hopefully it just was a mistake on their side.</p>
<p>yea well that’s what the rep told me the first time but it never changed… your financial aid advisor has A LOT of other students… chances are she won’t get around to the request for awhile, at least that’s what happened to me. The rep told me the same thing and 3 weeks later nothing had changed. Then orientation came around and i went to the financial aid building and one of the representatives fixed it for me right in front of me…</p>
<p>It was a mistake if :
- you didn’t get a warning e-mail saying your financial aid would be taken away</p>
<p>2) you had already activated your E-FAN by going through it all and accepting your awards</p>
<p>You really have to get this done really soon because you still have to choose a lender (for loans) and then apply for the loan which takes awhile also… my suggestion is that if it’s not reinstated by the end of the week you try to get a hold of your ACTUAL financial aid advisor or the front desk or maybe even drive to Austin and get it taken care of…</p>
