Is it true, based on this link, that SFS students don’t need math or science credits…or am I missing something?
Can any current students weigh in?

Yeah, the old running joke is that SFS stands for “Safe From Science.”
There is now a required course for IPOL majors - IPOL-320: Quantitative Methods for International Politics - that slightly addresses this for those completing the most common SFS major. Those majoring in STIA, IECO, or IPEC will, obviously, take some math/science coursework as part of those majors.
If you want to do CULP or International History, though, you may still get away with being Safe From Science!
Thanks. Science and math aren’t really my favorite subjects and when I heard that I didn’t have to take any courses in college I was really relieved. I’m still relieved I don’t have to take too many math/science classes. Right now I’m leaning towards IECO, but that’s definitely subject to change
