Shoot. This semester is soo bad.

So I’m a high schooler doing dual enrollment and I’ve having trouble keeping up with everything. First of all, im a senior but im not sure if its senioritis thats hitting me or if im just incompetent. I took 3 hard stem classes at my community college (Physics 4a, with a hard teacher, calc C and computer science) and everything is piling up at the same time and nothing is going through my head. I have a 3.96 gpa so far at CC and I feel like i have too many things coming at me for me to actually understand what im doing. How can I settle this?

First of all, it’s not incompetence. If it had been, you would never have been allowed to take those courses.

It sounds to me as though you probably need to get organized.
Open up a Word document, start by writing every upcoming deadline for each of those courses-- as well as your regular high school ones. Put them in chronological order. It’s the end of the school year (my classes have 13 teaching days left!) so expect them to come up fast and furious. Color code if you want, a different color for each course.

So now you have an outline of what you need to accomplish.

Next, prioritize. Finals are more important than tests. Tests are more important than quizzes. Quizzes are (usually) more important than homework. Make sure you use your time well, putting the most preparation into the most important areas.

thanks. may I ask… are you a teacher?

Yes, I teach high school math.

I guess it shows?

Great advice @bjkmom!
