I hope it didn't affect college kids going on Spring Break</p>

<p>I’m already home from the break, but this isn’t exactly near campus. The University Downtown Center has remained open according to an email sent out by the University. People on campus are certainly safe, if worried. Everyone is keeping their fingers crossed for the best possible outcome.</p>

<p>This is east of the campus, at an immigration center, but there is a report that a Binghamton University student was being treated at Lourdes Hospital. A Binghamton professor was brought in to help translate for authorities since the gunman was Asian, possibly Vietnamese, but the gunman has since taken his own life. Very tragic…</p>

<p>From what I heard some off-campus students lives next to, or very near the building. Lets just hope they are all ok. This is very tragic.</p>
