I am so frustrated with the activities section
of college apps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amen, hahaha.

Anyways, in the section where it says "hours
spent per week" what if I have an activity that
took maybe 20-40 hours a week, but I only spent
3 weeks on it, on again and off again during the
year. (if you're curious, it's the book I wrote.)

What would I put for that? It looks soooooooo
fishy if I said 20-40 hours, but it looks really pathetic
if I average it over the year so it's like....1 hour. Then
the activity looks fabricated and/or undedicated and/or
important.

<_< Why don't they just let us get a big-ass blank
space to write our activities!!!1 Like UVA hahaha.
I encountered this problem w/ several colleges.

Did you get your book published? What is it about? Just curious.

Run a High School Club to Perfection

Edition 1 is out on Lulu.com right now,
and I have Edition 2 ready in about a
week (Edition 1 was just making sure that
it works).

I can't really promote it right now independtly
because Scholastics.com is semi-interested in
having it added to their high school chain (they
said i'ts an interesting concept) and I sent off
a copy to them. Who knows how long it'll take
for them to approve/disapprove it. So if they
reject it, I have a second publishing company that
has already agreed to publish it, and i'll put it on
Amazon too. So it's either Scholastics, or I sell it
through a small company hardcopy and Lulu/Amazon.

Just wanna help school clubs, not like i'm really
doing it for profit. Goodness, read that book and
you'll run the best club in the world (i had a lot of
personal success stories including guiding one of my
school clubs from 15 members to 324 registered and
paid in 1 year.)

yah, shameless plug :P

Anyways, back to the origional question.
Can anyone help me? Hhahaah thanks!

I would like to know this too. I hate the hrs/wk and wks/year way of doing things!
