I used to get free/reduced lunch until around freshman and sophomore year, during which my family income rose to the current $90,000. Do I have a chance?

Sadly, no. Gotta apply normally.

My opinion differs.

Questbridge doesn’t mention specific requirements. However they targets students that have high achievements in the face of economic adversity. From the website:

Has this student overcome socio-economic obstacles to achieve academic excellence?"

If you think this fits you, then apply. No one here knows your story. If you came from a hardship background and you had free lunch, then it is possible QB will decide you can qualify as a finalist. As I recommended elsewhere just represent yourself with honesty and candor. It is not likely that you would be matched because they colleges would likely want a family contribution from you.

It does take a lot of effort to fill out the application but it is a good head start on getting the application going and the creative juices flowing. If you’d rather, you could send a short email to ask first.
