Should I Attend McGill?

Hi guys , I am international student and have been admitted to General Engineering program of McGill for fall 2013.Right now I have two very drastic options one a university in my country India which is not reputable and the other option is McGill.McGill is very expensive and I can only attend it if I get few equations right.
1.How much incourse financial aid do students get?Like I got 8000 cad entrance bursary will I get this the next year also?
2.I am expecting to earn 5000 cad from work study?
3.I talked to few seniors and they said that Second year is bit less expensive than first year.Right now first year costs 45000 CAD for me.How much decrease can I expect when I move out to apartment and prepare my own food?
4.I have heard that McGill computer engineers earn a minimum 50000 CAD as software engineer. Is it true?Do all graduates get job if i perform well in studies?
5.I have read a lot places that course load is quite tough. So is it manageable to work and study?
6.What other income sources will be available to me at McGill like internships,co-ops etc
Kindly please answer 1st and 6th question as I had asked them to first year office McGill ,however their replies did not answer my questions.I don't want to drop out from McGill due to lack of funds. Please help guys.

1- You wont get the bursary next year, its a one time entry deal.

2- You cant work the first 6 months while in Canada to comply with study permit regulations and after that no one can predict if you get a job in campus or not.

3- Cant be sure here, depends on where you choose to live etc. Generally it is significantly cheaper though, if I had to guess probably 5000$ cheaper.

4- Graduate jobs vary, there is no set salary. You might be very lucky and get an amazing job. Several factors to consider here, cant be predicted.

5- Course Load is tough, I dont know if you can handle it or not, varies from person to person. Many honours students from high school find it hard.

6- Some Engineering programs have Co-op, not all. Best to check on the website if yours does. Even if they do its unlikely that it will be before your third year. Other then that in-course scholarships and mcgill loans are a potential source.

In-course scholarships require you to be in the top 5% or 10% in your faculty for consideration.

I dont know much about mcgill loans, I just know that they are interest free and have to be repaid at some point.

Zilch3 thanks for your quick reply.Actually I had asked these questions on quora. Some seniors of McGill told me that min salary is 50000CAD and books aren’t required that much.(one can manage from old books and online study material). Once again thanks.
Here is the quora link:

One more thing what about so many external scholarships? Can they help to support McGill education or they are also a tough nut to crack?

I dont understand. What external scholarships are you referring to? You need to be a Citizen/Permanent resident for a majority of the canada scholarships if that’s what you’re talking about.
