Should I attend Rice or UT?

I’m fortunate to be debating the following two choices:

I was admitted to UT for Architectural Engineering (think civil engineering, but just for buildings), with Engineering Honors. Then, around a month or so ago, I got my scholarship award from honors - $30k a year, for four years! Because I’m in-state, that covers everything…!

Yesterday, though, I got into Rice, likely for civil engineering. With need-based aid and scholarships, my cost went down from $70k → $15k a year. That’s a pretty big deal, too.

Now, I’m a bit torn. I love Rice for its campus and atmosphere, and their engineering program has a lot to offer. UT has a stronger engineering program, though, and I feel like a debt-free education is the way to go; plus, growing up near Austin means I feel at home at their campus as well.

Thoughts on which I should choose? I think I’m hesitating because it feels weird to give up such a great offer, no matter which one I choose… commitment is hard… :
