Should I be considering the University of Richmond or William and Mary more?

The title basically is my question. My top 2 right now are UF and UGA but Richmond and William and Mary seem to have more prestige but idk if I would fit in with the lack of school spirit, party life, and enrollment size. In a confused state right now as April has come. Would like any feedback. Intended Major is Business!

UF is a top ten public university, top 35 overall. UGA is right there too.

I would say William and Mary is known to be the more intense school.

Richmond is the outlier. Small liberal arts school. Beautiful campus. Southern gem. Really great.

Forget prestige. They are all considered very selective. That means you’ve been very successful and any will let you continue that trajectory.

More elite college sports for fun and big school energy at UF and UGA. But more to navigate. But superb academics and outcomes especially in business programs. Big alumni networks especially if you want to live in those regions.

W and M if you really want academics to be the focus of your energy.

Richmond if you want the attributes of a liberal arts college. Smaller classes. Direct access to profs and a much smaller student body.

I believe UF have a lot of classes online.
I wouldn’t pay a lot of money for online classes.

@PurpleTitan these online classes at UF aren’t only online though. Students are allowed to go to the classroom where teachers are holding lectures. The online component just means that the class is recorded and that attendance isn’t mandatory

Have you visited them all? These are quite different schools which might make your choice easier. UF and UGA are very large, state flagship research universities with big time athletics (at least in football). W&M and Richmond are much smaller, undergraduate-oriented, and much more residential. Richmond is private and a lot of people would think W&M is private. I think all of them have good business options. I’d recommend looking at the Poets and Quants website to get some more insights and information.

I’d lean to William & Mary and Richmond, but that reflects my preferences and perspective. You should consider financial aspect. Are you in-state for any?
