Should I be worried about May SAT scores at all?

I got a 1870, which alot of average (Note: CC is not average) people would be very happy with, I was disappointed. It is not on par with alot of the schools I'm looking at (Brown, Tufts, Lehigh, Wesleyan, etc).

But, I'm definitely going to be taking again in October and will be preparing hard all summer. So, should I just take this score with a grain of salt and move on?

Also, this may sound crazy, but if I'm dedicated this summer and practice almost every day (which I will), is it possible to raise my score by 300-400 points?

P.S. Scores were cr580, m690, w600.

If you work hard, don't worry about it. A summer can do a lot and I think you should keep in mind your goal and that's it! I'm sure you'll do better.

Yeah, just work hard but don't stress out too much about it and you'll do fine next time.
