<p>Hi, I'm a high school senior, top 30% of class, 3.6 weighted gpa, 1800 SAT score. I am worried because I was recently suspended this school year for an alcohol related incident. Applying regular decision to Rutgers, Syracuse, Penn State, and Temple. Can someone who has been suspended during their senior year, or anytime in highschool give me advice?</p>
<p>I have no experience in this area, but since no one has yet responded, I would suggest that you go talk to your guidance counselor. Be honest. Your GC may be willing to tell you if he/she included that information in your recommendation letter, and to what degree the incidence was discussed (e.g., you are normally a level-headed guy who screwed up once versus this is a kid who drinks all the time and finally got caught… just kidding)</p>
