Does it “look better” to be a tutor in a major unrelated subject or take an extra GE class?(I’ve filled up my IGETC for everything except one Physical science)
I’m split between becoming an math tutor or taking a history class since the tutoring times conflict with the class. I really like history and would enjoy the class since the prof’s rate my professor seems extremely laid back along with being a great lecturer. I’m quite sure that I can get an A in the class, which would pull my GPA up even if it did not count for any "credit.
Also, this is all based on the fact that I can’t take the history class another time or find another method of scheduling this since the rest of my schedule is packed. Also, I’d be happy to do both and can’t seem to choose between them, so I feel what would “look better” would probably make my decision. So a 0.02 rise in my gpa from a 3.87–>3.89 and a History class in the fall, or a school tutor in math.
