Should I double major in Economics and Finance or something else?

Hello, I am a junior in high school and I am looking for a realistic college major, something that has good job prospects and pays decently. I understand that engineering is at the top and pays well, but I am not interested in that, nor computer science related fields. I understand that Economists can make a lot of money but I'm not too sure about its job prospects. I understand that finance majors get a lot of job offers, but I would like to make a lot of money. I am also interested in doing something that would be more fun, like high office executive or marketing for a corporation. So my questions are:

1.) Should I get a double major in Economics/Finance? And then after get an M.B.A?

2.) Should I get a major in Economics and minor in Finance? And then after get an M.B.A?

3.) Should I major in Finance or something different?

4.) Is the M.B.A. idea good?

Don’t worry too much about this yet, but you can decide whether you’d prefer to attend a regular liberal arts college or an undergraduate school of business. I am strongly prejudiced in favor of the former, but that’s just me. Don’t even think about MBA programs yet. The best ones don’t want students without some work experience after graduation, anyway, in most cases. Wait for your junior grades and test scores. Try to get involved in some extracurricular activities that interest you. Take the highest-level classes you can. They might give you more flexibility in pursuing a double major, if you get AP or IB credit for some high school work. The best undergraduate business schools (e.g. Penn/Wharton, NYU/Stern, et al) are fiercely competitive, and so you will need outstanding grades and scores (especially in Math and other quantitative subjects).
