Should I even bother to apply to college prep?

No one has ever applied to college prep at my school before so I don't know who would be qualified. I understand that College Match Finalists are AMAZING, so I'm guessing college prep finalists are too?

Honors

Extracurricular Activities (not that great either):

And what if I have a low income, but high assets (even though most of it are in retirement funds)?

what year are you now? college prep app deadline is long passed.

No one had applied to the college prep application from my school before either and I was the first to get it.

I don’t think I’ll be able to adequately “chance” you but I think that your weighted GPA looks good and your extracurricular activities do too. If you’re asking if you should even “bother” to apply to the scholarship, you’re not carrying the right mindset. I don’t even think I sent test scores when I applied since I was taking the SAT right after the deadline my year. The deadline is March 27th this year, so you still have time (if you’re a junior). If you have any other questions, I posted up a Facebook link with past Quest Scholars and you’re free to join and ask us any questions you still have. Good Luck!

and Blair, there’s a place in your application to clarify anything you want about your financial situation so you can explain things there.
