@shuffle1. Thanks for your input! That’s the thing- I’m not completely sure on my career choice yet. I am passionate about writing and art, and am hoping to explore them more deeply in college and then find the right job. I have thought about becoming an art therapist or (as a bigger dream) a published writer. If I do become an art therapist, I know it is not necessarily the highest paying job, so that is why I don’t know if I should spend so much on college than if I were going to pursue a higher-paying career in the future. I’ve also thought about becoming a teacher as something to fall back on if those don’t work out for me, and again I know that the salary is not necessarily very high.
No matter which way I go, though, I plan to attend graduate school.
@kwajmama Thanks very much! I actually did not think about that before. I’m leaning toward TCNJ after the accepted students day, loved the warm feeling I got from that school. This really is a gift so I want to make sure I use it on the right place for me.
