Should I go for quality or a free ride?

I am a NMF and I was offered a full ride to several schools. I have it narrowed down to the university of alabama, auburn, and northeastern. I really want to go to northeastern university, but it only offered me full tuition. That still leaves 14,000 in room, board, and books. Auburn and alabama both offered me full rides.
My parents have no money to contribute, and I got no grants from the FAFSA. Do you think I should go to the school I really want to go to, even if it means a lot of debt? Or save money since I plan on going to grad school too? And if I worked pay or full time, how much money could I make? And if you have any other suggestions to make money, please tell me. I'm already donating blood plasma for money.

Northeastern is not better than Alabama or Auburn. All three universities are good and none of them are elite. This is truly a no-brainer; go for one of the Alabama schools.

By all means, Alabama or Auburn. If this was Williams or Yale, then there might be a discussion, but $56K in debt for Northeastern just doesn’t make sense.

Agreed. Take full advantage of the privileges you’ll get as a full-ride student at UA or AU, and you’ll have plenty of options after you graduate.

Your premise isn’t right.

Going to one of the NMF schools is not sacrificing quality.

What is your major?

I have 2 high stats kids at Bama. One has the NMF scholarship, and the other has the Presidential Scholarship, Engineering Scholarship, and the National Merit Special Scholarship. Both are getting an excellent education.

They love Bama…

AGREED! What were the other “full rides” ?
