Hey guys. I'm going into my school in the fall, having just graduated high school. But I have a lot of Ap credit and stuff, so I'm technically a junior. I'm majoring in biomedical engineering, and I was wondering if you guys think it makes sense to graduate early, or if I should stay for all 4 years and do more research or something?

Wait until you start college and then figure it out.

You may graduate a bit later than you think. Did you see an adviser in the biomed department to plan out your courses already? If you are already in a fairly good university you could do research there as a grad student after you graduate. You can also see if you school has summer research programs if you want to get involved with research as soon as possible.

Chances are you will have a lot of prerequisite stacking, so it will still probably take you 3-3.5, maybe 4 years. The upside is that you will have a reduced course load every semester.

Yes you should graduate early if you can.
